the ancient practice of giving caring attention to your relationship with God, accompanied by the prayerful presence of someone who helps you to pay attention to God in your life.
It would be an honour to journey with you to explore God's loving presence in your day to day life, discover more deeply the uniqueness of who you are, and explore how to live that out more fully and more freely.
You may be seeking spiritual direction because you are making a transition or are in a season of discernment. Perhaps you are wondering if a deeper sense of God’s love in your life is even possible. You may be in church leadership and looking for a safe space where you can be present to God to consider what God is saying to you. You may be experiencing burnout or fearful that it is around the corner. Perhaps you are multi-cultural and desire to bring your whole self into all the places God has called you. Or, you may have an evangelical background and are curious about exploring a more contemplative way of being.
Whatever your story or situation, I offer a confidential space where you can regularly and safely reflect on your relationship with God.
Thus says the LORD: "Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls." Jeremiah 6:16
When we are lost in the woods, the sight of a signpost is a great matter. --CS Lewis
My role is to come alongside you, listen, and ask questions as together we discover the “signposts” that are particular to you and your faith journey. And as we meet together, I accompany you as you seek to live out the unique invitations God has for you.
Spiritual direction sessions take place on-line about every 4 weeks and last one hour. They will usually be from September to July and are offered on a sliding scale. Please get in touch to learn more about this. Prior to the first session, I offer an initial 30 minute (no fee) conversation to enable us to consider if we would be a good fit.
I trained on the Encounter course at the London Centre for Spiritual Direction and am a member of the LCSD community of spiritual directors.
My background began in public health and then shifted into spiritual health. I have worked in church and para-church leadership for 15+ years. My roots are evangelical and I seek to live out of a slowed-down spirituality.
